About Us
Nusantara Overland Varsity English Debate or NOVED (previously known as JOVED) is an annual classics debate tournament. It was first held on 1997 and has been regarded as one of the three esteemed classics alongside with IVED and ALSA UI.
For many years, it has been a prestigious competition showcasing many debaters ability in argument-making and exchanges.
Tournament Details :
Dates: August 7th - 8th and 14th-15th (over the course of two weekends)
Price:
New Institution: Rp350.000,- / team
Returning Institution: Rp400.000,- / team
N-2 & Independent Adjudicator: Rp100.000,-/person
For Team 2 and up: additional +Rp25.000,- / team.
New Institution, as defined by the constitution, are institutions that have not participated as debater in IVED 2019, JOVED 2019, IVED 2020, JOVED 2020, IVED 2021.
Format: British Parliamentary; N-2 policy
